Who am I?
Hi! I’m Suzy! I’ve been a registered celebrant for 6 years. I became a celebrant a couple of years after I married my love in 2015. I loved every part of planning our wedding and realised that being a trusted part of someone’s special day is such a huge honour, a feeling that I wanted to continue to experience.
I grew up in rural South Canterbury, went to university in Dunedin, before moving to Christchurch and meeting the love of my life. We got married, adopted our pup Moose and then tried for many years to start a family. We were finally blessed in 2024 with our baby girl, Sage, after 8 years of trying.
We moved to Tauranga at the start of 2024 and love the lifestyle, friendly vibe and being close to the beach. We are lucky enough to split our time between here and the Coromandel. We also love to travel the world, take Moose on adventures, eat delicious food and drink a good gin.
But most of all...
I love love....
Authentic, honest, unselfish love.

What you can expect
Planning a wedding can be stressful... so lets make it as easy as possible.
At our initial meeting we'll get to know each other, this meeting is free and there is no obligation whatsoever. We will chat about your love story and what kind of wedding ceremony you would like. I'll explain the paperwork that needs to be done. We will then toss around some ideas and then take it from there!
If you decide that I'm the right celebrant for you, then we'll work together to construct your ceremony. This means, I'll write a unique ceremony that captures your story but you’ll get full editing rights so that we get it just right.
Once you are happy we'll lock it in and get all the paper work sorted in preparation for the day.
The Big Day
I'll be there early to calm the nerves and instruct your guests, making sure that everyone is where they should be. I’ll work with the venue to ensure that everything is exactly how you want it.
I'll deliver the ceremony that we've agreed upon (absolutely no surprises!) and work to ensure a smooth running of this part of your day. I’ll make sure we get all the correct documentation completed and get this filed within the next 24 hours.
I'll then disappear into the sunset and leave you to enjoy your ridiculous amounts of happiness with your special guests.
If you have your furry friend involved in your wedding, I’ll also be chief puppy cuddler.

SIMPLE LOVE $350
Perfect for those smaller weddings, elopements or week day ceremonies. We’ll put together a beautifully simple ceremony that is authentically you.
CLASSIC LOVE $650
The full service for those looking for a more classically bigger wedding. We’ll put together a beautifully classic ceremony that celebrates you. This package includes a rehearsal before the big day.

I am currently available for weddings in the Tauranga, Omokoroa, Katikati area as well as Matarangi, Whitianga, Kuaotunu and Whangaparoa.
I’m happy to travel further but there would be an additional travel cost involved. This can be provided on enquiry.
